Wonderful News!!!

Hello, Everyone!!
Sorry I have been out of touch.  This round of chemo has been proven very tough, but I am making it through.  I had my 2nd treatment on Monday, had a rough few days, but today I feel really great.  On top of that, God has given me an unexpected and wonderful gift.  I had genetic testing done over Thanksgiving at  MDA.  I felt sure that I had the "breast cancer gene," simply because of my young age and I had NO other risk factors.  If I had the gene, we would know that Madeleine would be at very high risk to get breast cancer.  Also, I would have to have a complete hysterectomy on top of all of this.  I would be fine with the hysterectomy, but sooooooo worried about my baby and also, her children AND Harrison's children.  But like I said, Scotty and I were both prepared for a positive result.  Well, PRAISE GOD, the results were NEGATIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am still in shock and so grateful.  The relief I feel for Maddie's sake is unexplainable.  Thank you for all of your prayers.  Honestly I really couldn't do it without them.  I will try to blog more frequently now that I'm feeling better.  My next treatment will be January 26.  Specifically, I would appreciate if you would pray for NO DELAYS in my chemo.  I want to be done on time and get back to my wonderful life.  Miss and love everyone!
